https://trello.com/ looks useful for planning and tracking, and of course, with an open API it has been integrated with with Org.
First off, this looks useful for keeping public tasks lists and sharing them with others.
Second, of course, the question immediately arose in my mind: will this work with work with Org, since my it part of ‘[My] life in plain text’…and of course, the answer seems to be yes:
